Terms

The fine print.

1. It’s a joke

invoice.do makes novelty documents for entertainment. Invoices created here are not bills. They don’t create any legal obligation to pay anyone anything, and we don’t process payments of any kind. Coffee debts are a matter between you and your conscience.

2. Keep it friendly

invoice.do is for people who know each other and are in on the joke. Don’t use it to:

  • harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone;
  • share someone’s private information, or say things about a real person that are false and damaging;
  • impersonate a real business or pass an invoice off as a genuine bill;
  • send invoices to strangers or in bulk.

3. Your words

You’re responsible for what you write on an invoice or in a dispute. You give us permission to store it and show it to anyone who has the link, which is the whole point.

4. Removal

We may remove any invoice that breaks these terms. Invoices that receive several reports are withdrawn automatically while we take a look.

5. No warranty

The service is provided as is, may change or disappear, and comes with no guarantees. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for anything arising from its use, including hurt feelings and escalating counter-invoices.

6. Who we are

invoice.do is an experiment by Found.do. Questions go to hi@found.do.
